Minor in Gifted and Talented Education

Texas State offers a graduate minor in Gifted and Talented Education. The minor requires a minimum of six advisor-approved credit hours. 

Career opportunities associated with these minors include: 

• Advanced/gifted education specialists and coordinators 
• Classroom teachers with enhanced advanced/gifted education skills 
• Teachers of accelerated or honors classes
• Teachers in early-college high schools
