Teresa Miranda-Martinez

Driven by her lived experience as a first-generation college graduate, Teresa is passionate about creating and upholding equitable opportunities for academic growth. She has experience in nonprofit literacy programming and student success initiatives. She has also worked in high school campus ministry and student life, where she developed a love for mentoring students and supporting their personal and academic development. These experiences continue to inform her approach, emphasizing relationships and community.

Teresa received a B.A. in Pastoral Ministry from the University of Dallas and is currently pursuing a M.A. in Postsecondary Student Success at Texas State University. She is interested in strengthening the educational pipeline from early literacy through higher education and exploring how equitable access to resources can improve student engagement and long-term success.
