Grant Specialist
Grace is a Texas State alumna, where she earned both her Bachelor’s degree in
Psychology, with minors in Journalism and Criminal Justice, and a Master’s in Psychological Research.
Before joining the Upward Bound TRIO team as Grant Specialist, she served as a
Graduate Instructional Assistant in the Department of Psychology at Texas State University, where she supported undergraduate students through instruction and course
administration. She also worked in University Advancement as both a Research Associate
and Graduate Research Assistant, conducting prospect research. These roles strengthened her love for education and promoting student success.
Grace is passionate about expanding access to higher education and is excited to
support the mission of Upward Bound by helping students navigate their academic
journeys and achieve their education goals. She is committed to fostering a welcoming,
organized, student-centered environment where every participant has the opportunity to
succeed.
