The Residency partnership at Texas State University (TXST) with local schools and districts continues to set new standards and fosters important growth opportunities in education for the state of Texas. The 2026 Acquisition International’s Non-Profit Organisation Awards named Ki Charter as the “Most Dedicated Education Provider 2026” and their superintendent gives some credit to the success of the charter school chain to the innovation and success of the residency program.
"This is a true testament to each and every one of [the educators and residents at TXST],” Dr. Jerry Lager, Superintendent of Schools, Ki Charter School. “This award is more than a milestone; it's a moment to tell our story. Receiving an award is a remarkable achievement, but how we use it can make all the difference. By celebrating, sharing, and showcasing our success, we can make a difference for more children and adolescents."
