Kaycee Baker

Kaycee Baker began their journey at Texas State University as a transfer student in 2007 and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications in 2010. They quickly fell in love with both the campus and the surrounding community and decided to make their permanent home in San Marcos. After several years working with local businesses, Kaycee returned to Texas State as a staff member at the LBJ Student Center in 2018.

A passion for equality, accessibility, and affordability in higher education drove them to join the College of Education Advising Center as an Academic Advisor in 2019. Kaycee's goal in advising is to act as an ally and advocate for Bobcats as they explore and achieve their educational and professional goals.

Outside of work, Kaycee enjoys exploring the San Marcos river and other local green spaces with their spouse and two dogs. They also enjoy supporting San Marcos' vibrant local music and arts scene as well as participating in community events.
