Email Policy
We value your interest and feedback. We also value your privacy.
For that reason, be sure to use your TXST email address and include your full name and ID number in every email you send to an advisor. That way we'll know we're replying with the right info to the right student every time!
A few other things to keep in mind:
- Email shouldn't replace appointments.
Detailed topics like GPA calculations and schedule changes are best-suited for appointments where the potential for confusion is lessened; if it would take more than 1 or 2 sentences to ask your question or for an advisor to answer it, call us to schedule an appointment instead!
- We're committed to sending timely responses.
If you haven't heard from us yet and are worried about an approaching deadline, feel free to follow up with us to ask for a status update; however, please note otherwise that sending duplicate emails typically slows down our ability to process requests so your patience is appreciated while we work on finding you answers!
- Start by checking out our website in case the answer to your question is already there.
We put a lot of effort into keeping our website current with information and resources at your fingertips; if you can't find what you ‘re looking for there, we’re more than happy to help!
