Step away from the classroom and into the outdoors for Write Where We Stand, a face-to-face writing retreat inspired by the National Writing Project’s Write Out. Teachers and writers are invited to spend a refreshing morning at Austin’s beautiful Boggy Creek Greenbelt, where the natural environment becomes both inspiration and text.

Mondays In November: 2 on Zoom and 2 asynchronously

Please join Central Texas Writing Project CTWP Co-Directors Lori Assaf and Valerie Taylor as we discuss the book Youth Scribes: Teaching a Love of Writing, by experienced teacher and CTWP Teacher Consultant R. Joseph Rodriguez. Book club meetings and discussions will occur on Mondays  in November.

The 30th Invitational Summer Institute will be held in Summer 2027. After completing an Invitational Summer Institute, educators become Teacher Consultants for the National Writing Project and the CTWP.
