COERO Advisory Committee
Purpose: To advise the sponsored research unit of the College of Education in its functions, especially to develop practice guidelines to promote effective and efficient support for COE faculty as they develop and implement grant-funded research projects.
Role of Members:
- Provide ideas, information, and feedback about COERO initiatives, actions, and issues
- Communicate COERO information as appropriate to their respective departments
- Bring grants information from their respective departments to the advisory board as appropriate
- Meet 1-2 times per semester in addition to any subcommittee work that emerges
Committee Members, 2024-2025: In consultation with Associate Dean Paulson, each COE Department Chair recommended 5-7 active grant-funded PIs from their Department to be invited to serve on the Committee, in addition to the Directors of the LBJ Institute and TRIO. This is the inaugural year of the Committee; the total number of members may change in subsequent years and the membership may not remain the same from year to year.
Subcommittees: As subcommittees are formed from the Advisory Committee roster, that information will be provided in this space as well.
