Pre-Award Resources
To Request Pre-Award Research Coordinator Support for Your Project
There are two ways to request Pre-Award support:
1. Begin a Kuali record. The Division of Research's preferred method of assigning Pre-Award support for a PI is for the PI to start a Kuali record for your project. Kuali is the grant proposal platform at Texas State.
- Once you begin a Kuali record, the Division of Research is notified that a new open record has been created, and they assign the next available Pre-Award Research Coordinator to your project.
- (Here are instructions for initiating a Kuali record for your project: Beginning a Kuali Record)
2. Email. You can contact the Division of Research's Pre-Award email account and request support. That email account is: PreAward@txstate.edu .
Every successful grant starts with an idea. The Pre-Award Research Coordinator can help you learn more about external funding, facilitate your progression through the proposal development and submission process, and aid in improving your capacity to continue applying for funding in the future.
